Canadian Figurative Masters are fine artists who have demonstrated mastery in the figurative disciplines of skill, anatomical and topographical knowledge, technique and style, in drawing and painting the nude human figure from life over many years, in a body of work that comprises to a large degree figurative art. Nude drawing or better known as life drawing also includes partially draped figures and some costume drawing where fabric and articles of clothing are designed to enhance the human figure.
